Course overview:

Many of our learners have English as another language. This session explores some of the key practical approaches and strategies we can use to help learners overcome barriers and make sure ESOL learners have the same access to an ambitious curriculum as other learners. We will also explore the importance of phonics for ESOL learners of all ages, as well as looking at developing specific academic language to ensure they can access their other subjects appropriately.
