How can we truly create a primary history curriculum that facilitates deeper, more connected learning and retention of information - as well as supporting pupils in connecting learning to other domains?  Long arcs provide a fascinating (and successful) approach to developing connectivity in pupils.

This training session will provide teachers and leaders with a range of proven approaches, including:

  • A series of active ‘do now’ strategies to share with teachers to support learning over time
  • Proven strategies to curricular design and implementation that increase connectivity without reducing content
  • Simple, sustainable long-term AND short-term assessment and questioning ideas that work to improve functional recall and application
