A ‘COVID surge’ in ITT applications has helped the government reach its teacher-recruitment target for the first time in almost a decade; but a third of teachers are leaving the profession within five years. What can we do to improve morale in our schools? This INSET looks at both “self-help” strategies for teachers and leaders, and also collaborative/altruistic approaches for leaders at all levels.
