About this course

In a climate of inclusivity, it is essential that we develop strategies that prevent challenging behaviours from disrupting others.

“Challenging Behaviour And How To Overcome It” is a new CPD training day that will help you to understand the causes of disruptive behaviour. The course introduces proven strategies for managing these behaviours in a consistent, positive and effective way. We will explore how to manage both persistent low-level disruption and more extreme behaviours, with proven approaches to use in the classroom and across the school. This informative course covers the following:

  • Strategies for managing difficult or disruptive behaviour.
  • A researched approach to creating whole school consistency.
  • Behaviour management - a positive approach to behaviour for learning.
  • De-escalation techniques for children and adults.
  • How the forthcoming Ofsted Framework will impact your behaviour judgments and how you should take this into account to develop your school policy.

  • Best practice examples to use in your school.
  • TT Education's bespoke approach to conflict resolution.
