  • Explore the role of a deputy head and your part in contributing to the success of the school
  • The key qualities for building an effective partnership with your Headteacher

  • Creating / contributing to your school development plan

New to Deputy Headship explores the key characteristics of a successful deputy head from the perspective of somebody who is new to the role.

Join new leaders from other Infant, Junior, Middle and Primary schools on a day of discussion, exploration and learning. Upon returning to your school, you’ll have a wealth of ideas and approaches that will help you to drive improvement and create a positive climate for learning at your school.
