About this course

For early years practitioners, knowledge of the National Curriculum is vital so that we can adequately prepare children for their next stage of development.

This short course will:

  • Look at the links between the Early Years Curriculum and the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Investigate arrangements for both years, so that transition does not become a one-way process
  • Explore how practitioners in both the early years and Year 1 can support this transition

This course is appropriate for EYFS.

  • EYFS Leads
  • EYFS Practitioners
  • Staff new to the EYFS
