Developing Effective Support Consultancy Package

Unlocking the potential of Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants is one of the most significant acts any school leader can do to improve children's attainment. This is the consultancy package that will help you to do it!

This Consultancy Package includes:

  • An audit and report of your current provision.
  • Half-termly half-day training for teaching assistants (to suit school's needs, e.g. grammar subject knowledge, pedagogy, supporting the more able child etc.)

The training sessions will cover the following:

  • Discovering the individuality and skills of your teaching support team.
  • Using the skills and diversity of teaching assistants and HLTAs to add to the depth and range of the curriculum.
  • Supporting TAs and HLTAs to become leaders in their own sphere of influence – relative autonomy to maximise pupil impact.
  • Exploration of the key areas for development you have as a school – and how TAs and HLTAs can also play a part in these directly as well as through pupil interactions.
