As glib as it might sound, there is no average working day for me. TT Education is growing quickly and we have a wide and varied portfolio - with so much more planned. My constant focus is making sure our numbers and targets are on track, but depending on the day, I might be meeting with clients or partners; drawing up proposals; delivering digital training; planning and scoping future business developments; or brainstorming with our product and marketing teams.
If you asked any of my colleagues, they'd probably tell you I talk a lot of rubbish and drink a lot of tea.
Teachers are amazing, it is as simple as that. When you go into teaching, you do so because you have a belief in young people. You want to extend their opportunities, to give them a lifelong love of learning, to enable them to reach their true potential in life. Teachers face incredible challenges, every day, to deliver this incredible gift.
When I work with schools, I am working with teams of professionals that share this passion and this ethos. It is humbling and inspiring.
I have the most beautiful family and love spending time with them. As well as that, I like to read and write; and I love music. I play guitar (and sitar) and I sing, with ongoing projects that include various bands, duos and solo work.
I am a practicing hypnotherapist and specialise in male depression and anxiety, a widespread problem with very little coverage.
