I am really enthused by the work that I do with school leaders on a 1:1 or group basis. It is a huge privilege to work with educators to capture what is working well and also determining what needs improving and how.
I have worked in Primary schools for 30 years (and loved it!). I want to help teachers and school leaders do their job as well as they can for the good of the children.
I qualified as a teacher 30 years ago! Since then I have been a subject leader in Maths, Science, RE and PE. I then became a senior leader, a Head teacher of a multicultural primary school, a Local Leader in Education and an RE Inspector. I have taught across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I have coached and mentored teaching assistants, NQTs, teachers and head teachers in a wide range of settings. I was an RE Inspector for 10 years
I am passionate about the Mission Statement of Schools: their vision and values and how they review them and communicate these with their stakeholders. I am particularly interested in assisting leaders in schools evaluate and improve their approaches and strategies in order to make their schools more effective. I am very keen to work with faith schools and schools which have a range of different cultures in their community.
I used to love teaching children, now I want to help those still working face to face with children to find the best ways to give children a great experience each day.
I am a very keen sportsman. I am a very keen golfer and also play table tennis. I also enjoying listening to music and travelling. Most of all I love spending time with my family and friends.
