With over twenty years of teaching experience, my vision for education has always embodied long-term and sustainable aims. I believe that educators are responsible for equipping children with a growth mindset, providing them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive throughout their lives. It is not only the outcome of a challenge that is important but also the way in which these goals are achieved which moulds us and prepares us for the future.
My career has spanned both Key Stages 1 and 2, covering every subject across the curriculum. I have taught in a variety of schools, met children from all walks of life and have loved every single minute.
My first love is Maths. I have also been fortunate enough to lead a comprehensive list of subjects, with particular focus on EAL and Languages. I am currently developing my field of expertise in Critical Thinking and Life Skills.
With four, ever-hungry children, cooking has become a creative challenge and travel away from the home has become increasingly important as they progress through their teenage years. A good murder mystery is always a treat.
